After six months of silence and virtually no news updates we're finally back with a new site, a Members Area and
our first Pay-Per-View television special! So why did it take us half a year to post a news story or even get the site
done? It's a long story, but I'll hand down the short and sweet version: When I decided to add a Members Area
to CandyGirl Video, I knew it meant that the site would have to be redesigned. Now, the following is for all the tech
savvy folks out there. All previous versions of this site were built using the table based visual design mode within a
program called Dreamweaver. It was quick and easy, but as I learned the hard way, search engines hate table
based sites. Instead, search engines love CSS based sites with as little coding as possible. I knew little to no
html code and didn't have a clue how to code CSS based sites. So, I had to learn how. That's what I did all spring
and now I wish I had learned how to do it years ago. CSS is so quick and easy! Plus, it's going to make the site
load quicker, which is actually an unplanned side affect of using CSS that I love.
After learning how to code web pages by hand and style them using CSS, the next hurdle was to add the Members
Area content, which was the easiest part... until I had the idea to add 3D picture sets. That was a huge challenge
because none of my content was shot in 3D to begin with. So to make 3D images, I had to come up with a way to
do it from scratch. That took a month of experimenting, but I finally got it to work.
Then, during the entire time I was trying to do all this, I was in negotiations for our first Pay-Per-View television special.
That project took up a great deal of my time, but I'm sure that if we get to do it again that it will be a much smoother
process.

So, that's where I've been. If you've been checking on the site on a regular basis and wondered where the hell I went or
what was going on, I was just working to make CandyGirl Video better than it's ever been before. And now that we have
a Members Area, I will be updating the site 4 times a week to show site visitors what we've added to the site. So, regular
updates will take place from here on out. We're back... and we've never been sweeter!
